Independent by design
We hold none of the supply contracts, so nothing we recommend is shaped by who stands to win the work.
We bring your outsourced services together under one independent consultancy. Security, facilities, technology, cleaning and compliance are all coordinated by the same team, and one person is answerable for how they perform.
The problem
For most organisations the trouble is rarely the suppliers themselves. It is that nobody is coordinating them.
Security reports to one director while facilities reports to another. Cleaning usually sits with an office manager, technology answers to IT, and compliance ends up wherever there is capacity to absorb it. That leaves you with five contracts, five renewal dates and five account managers. When something goes wrong you get five explanations of why it was not their responsibility.
The invoices are only part of what this costs. The rest is the time your senior team spends managing the suppliers they hired so they would not have to.
The solution
We sit on your side of the table and take on the coordination, the performance management and the commercial oversight of your outsourced services. We hold none of the supply contracts and we take no commission from suppliers, so there is nothing pushing us to recommend anything other than what works for you.
We hold none of the supply contracts, so nothing we recommend is shaped by who stands to win the work.
Everyone on our team has worked on the client side of these contracts. We know where outsourced services tend to fail, which is usually in the gaps between them.
You pay one agreed annual fee. There are no variation orders, no unexpected invoices and no hourly charge for a phone call.
What we do
Security · Facilities · Compliance · Technology · Procurement
An independent review of what you are buying, what you are paying for it and what you are actually getting. It is quoted as a fixed fee and the findings belong to you.
Explore consultancy→Security · Facilities and cleaning · Technology · Supplier management
Day to day management of your outsourced services under one agreement, with a single point of contact and one agreed annual fee.
Explore managed services→Most work starts with a fixed-fee review or audit. You see the findings before committing to anything longer. Clients often move on to an annual managed-service partnership afterwards, but nothing in the review obliges them to.
Why TAC
Our team already delivers integrated asset and operational management across six countries. The same disciplines apply to your estate.
We have learned that on site rather than from a textbook, usually at six in the morning when the contractor has not turned up.
Done properly, consolidation improves service and reduces cost. Done badly it simply moves the problem somewhere else. We have seen both.
Writing recommendations is the easy part. We stay on to make sure they actually happen.
We do not hold the contracts, and that is deliberate.
We take no supplier commissions, hold no reseller agreements and have no preferred-partner arrangements that pay us. Our fee comes from you, so our advice answers to you.
Industries
Sites that run around the clock, hold high-value stock and have to flex hard through seasonal peaks.
Multi-tenant buildings where the standard of service is visible every day and affects the building's reputation.
We also work with manufacturing, healthcare, education and local authorities.
Common questions
We assess, specify and manage outsourced services on a client's behalf without supplying any of those services ourselves. In practice that means reviewing what you buy across security, facilities, cleaning, technology and compliance, testing it against what it should cost and deliver, and then holding your suppliers to that standard. Because we hold no supply contracts and take no commissions, the recommendation is always the one that suits your operation.
A provider sells you labour or systems and makes its money from the volume you buy. We sell judgement and management, and that is all we make money from. The supply contracts stay in your own name while we manage their performance and their commercials. That structural difference is why we can recommend keeping an incumbent supplier and renegotiating with them rather than replacing them.
Yes. Tender design, specification writing, supplier selection, evaluation scoring and contract negotiation are all part of our procurement consultancy work. We also run benchmarking exercises against existing agreements, which often produces a better result than going out to market and avoids the disruption of changing supplier.
Yes. We manage cleaning as part of soft facilities management rather than as a separate contract, because that is where it performs best. One specification, one audit regime and one accountable manager cover cleaning alongside maintenance, waste, grounds and front of house. Cleaning still carries its own service standard and its own audit score, it just does not sit in a silo of its own.
We work best with organisations running several outsourced services, usually across more than one site. That tends to mean logistics and distribution operations, or corporate and commercial property portfolios. If you are managing security, cleaning, facilities and compliance under separate contracts then the model applies whatever your headcount.
Every consultancy engagement is quoted as a fixed fee against an agreed scope, so you know the cost before any work starts. Managed-service partnerships are priced as one agreed annual fee. All fees are quoted plus VAT.
